MACA Railroad Bike and Hike 11/17/2012

Want to enjoy your Saturday and do something fun, free, and fitness-oriented?  Join us for the Mammoth Cave Railroad Bike and Hike on November 17th!  Remarks will be at 10:45 a.m. and the ribbon cutting will be at 11 a.m., when the ride, running, and hiking will begin.  We will start at the Park City terminus of the trail, near the old Mentz Hotel.  Mountain bikes or hybrid bikes are suitable for the trail ride, but road bicyclists are welcome to ride from the Mentz to the endpoint via roadways.  Runners, hikers, and walkers are also welcome!  Please keep in mind that there will be NO transportation provided from the endpoint to the start-only go as far as your legs can take you back!  Of course, you can make your own arrangements for the return trip.  Free cave passes will be given to the first 150 people to arrive at the dummy engine near the Mammoth Cave Hotel.  Also, take advantage of the wonderful new educational exhibits at the Visitor’s Center!
